Information on your Mac

Tea Time saves a device identifier, your display name, the teammates you add, your app settings, and any GIF links and captions you save. The Recent list is kept in the app while it is running. The current app does not create a Tea Time account.

Calls on your local network

To find teammates and send calls, the app broadcasts messages over your local network. These messages include your device identifier and display name. Announcements also include the identifiers of people you have added. Call messages include the selected animation and intended recipients. Other devices on the same network may be able to receive these messages.

Tea Time does not send these calls through a Tea Time server in the current version.

GIFs and other services

GIF search and images load directly from KLIPY. KLIPY may receive your search terms, an app-generated identifier, and technical connection information such as your IP address. GIF links and captions you save are stored on your Mac.

If you leave a tip, Apple processes the purchase. If you choose to send feedback through GitHub or email support, those services process the information you provide. Vercel hosts this website and may receive technical information about visits, such as IP addresses.

Your choices

You can remove saved GIFs and teammates in the app and change its settings. Tea Time has no online account to delete in this version. For questions about your data or help removing local app data, email teatimeofficialsupport@gmail.com.
